Detroit-based Fathead LLC is also capitalizing on the Olympics by selling wall graphics featuring Olympians online and at the American hospitality site, USA House, in London, as part of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s merchandise assortment.
The 2012 games mark the first time the 6-year-old company has offered Olympic logos and featured Olympians in its small- and life-size wall graphics of athletes, said Joanna Cline, Fathead chief marketing officer.
“At Fathead, we celebrate athletes who are the best at what they do,” she said. “Who is better at what they do than our Olympians? Plus we’re excited to support the U.S. team with the product.”
