So, who is Brad Sleighter, and how did he get so much media attention across the country and abroad? Which congregation does he belong to? Who is his lawyer? What is he in jail for?
We don’t have all the answers, but here is what we know:
A. Brad Sleighter’s “lawsuit” is nothing more than a claim on a jail form that briefly describes the situation. Here is a copy of the paper that filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan.
B. Brad Sleighter is an habbitual offender and this is the 4th time that he got caught. Here is a copy of his current rap sheep obtained from Kent County Correctional Facility.
C. Brad Sleighter is broke. Here is a copy of the waiver he file with the Federal Court to exempt himself for paying for the filling.
D. Brad Sleighter just got reunited with another member of his family Caleb Sleighter (presumably his son) who just got thrown in the same jail two weeks ago.
So, does this all sound like a nice Observant Jewish man who deserves that a new Kosher kitchen be built just for him?
