Les Gold Talks About ‘Hardcore Pawn’ and What Happens When the Cameras Stop Rolling

It’s hard to believe “Hardcore Pawn” has been on the air since 2009, but it has.

And if Les Gold, who owns American Jewelry and Loan in Detroit where the show takes place, has his druthers, the reality series will be on for years.

Gold, 62, talked to The Detroit News in time for the show’s sixth-season return tonight about everything from how his daughter Ashley Gold Broad and son Seth Gold are perceived to what viewers don’t see when the cameras are off.
