Over two thousand people gathered on Wednesday May 30, for the annual SpringElation – JARC’s annual family event benefiting children with disabilities. This private all-inclusive evening at the Detroit Zoo featured a picnic dinner (dietary laws observed), the new carousel, FREE parking, arts and crafts, a children’s scavenger hunt (with prizes!), a photo opportunity with the Detroit Tigers mascot Paws, and much more!!!
All funds raised during the event benefit JARC’s children and family division that provides respite care to parents whose children still live at home, school inclusion programs, and community activities. SpringElation was presented by Quicken Loans, Title One, and Gilbert Films and co-chaired by Danielle Gillman and Julie Hertzberg.
